Aziz Kazi is a multi-instrumentalist from Karachi, Pakistan and has contributed to a vast body of work, which includes bands such as Sounds of Kolachi and branded shows such as Coke Studio. Aziz’s musical journey started early on, growing up in a family of musicians.

Soon he started playing in his school’s marching band, and developed a sense of rhythm at a very young age. His love for music, and dedication to the craft, led him to playing, recording and travelling internationally with mainstream artists in the Pakistani music industry like Aamir Zaki, Chand Tara Orchestra, Jimmy Khan, Zoe Viccaji, and lots of others. Aziz has been a part of the Coke Studio ensemble as a world percussionist for seasons 9, 10 and 12.

Currently Aziz is working on his first solo hang-drum album called Cacan, with engineer Daniel Arthur Panjwaneey & producers Umair Dar and Anas Alam Khan at A for Aleph.
